BSD has long recognized and addressed the special needs of its highly gifted elementary and middle school children through the district’s PRISM program.  The needs of these children do not end after middle school, however, although the program has . . .until now.

Testing for the High School Gifted Program will be held on January 9, 2010 for fall 2010 placement.  Click here for the HS Gifted Application for Testing Form .

IHS11.jpg Current PRISM students will be automatically accepted into the Gifted High School Program at Interlake as they register.  Other students, including those from other school districts, can apply by taking an eligibility test.

Students not in the PRISM Program should apply to take the eligibility test, following the same process required for the district 1-8 Gifted program .  Students may apply for testing for the High School Gifted Program by submitting the HS Gifted Application for Testing Form to the Gifted office.  A Cognitive Abilities test and Reading test will be given on Saturday morning, January 9, 2010 at Highland Middle School, from 8:15 am - 12:45.

If you would like a parent's perspective on the High School Gifted Program (or the elementary or middle school PRISM programs) or would like carpool information for Interlake, please e-mail gatepac@bsd405.org.
