The Bellevue School District is fortunate to be part of a community that supports its schools. Voters consistently approve school finance measures by wide margins. Parents, volunteers from the business community, and retired residents provide support to individual students, whole classrooms and entire schools. And a schools foundation raises millions each year to support our continually-improving curriculum, the professional development of teachers, and students who need extra help to be successful.

Bellevue Schools Foundation
Founded in 1979, the mission of the Bellevue Schools Foundation (BSF) is to promote and help fund the best possible learning opportunities for all students of Bellevue Public Schools. The funds raised help improve student learning through district wide academic initiatives, curriculum material and book purchases, training opportunities for teachers, and an array of programs that meet students' special needs. BSF also helps bridge the gap between the basic funding provided by the State of Washington and what our District's students need to truly excel.
City of Bellevue
The City of Bellevue collaborates with Bellevue School District to support programs such as the VIBES and Family Connection Centers, and offers afterschool programs in some schools.
Parent-Teacher Association (PTA)
PTA's are volunteer driven parent organizations that encourage parent and public involvement in supporting local schools.
Volunteers in Bellevue's Education System
A collaborative effort between Bellevue School District, the City of Bellevue, the Bellevue Schools Foundation, PTSA and the community, the VIBES Mentoring Program is an in-school mentor/tutor program for students of all needs.
