All Yellow Bus Routing information for the 2010 - 2011 School Year is now posted for each individual school.  Please click on the links on the left hand column for your schools listing.

The links on your left under Bus & Metro Routes, Schedules is for the 2009 - 2010 school year of all bus route information. High School students use the Metro Transit bus system.

If you attend Puesta del Sol or Tillicum Middle School in the Spanish Immersion Program or the ESL program and need a copy of the Spanish Immersion Program information, Spanish Immersion Application, or a Spanish Immersion Program Refund form please just click on the following links and it will open a Acrobat Adobe document which you may print.

Please keep in mind that the afternoon route number on Wednesdays is the same as it is on M, Tu, Th, and Friday.


If you are wanting to know your eligible school of attendance just follow the link above and enter your residence address. The program will give you a list of eligible schools along with the bus route information. Please remember your student's eligibility for special programs is based on certain criteria.

The above link to Unique Street Listing will show how streets are entered into the School Boundary Information link. If after entering your address you still get "address problem" it may be because your address is not inside the Bellevue School District or the address has not been updated to the district's system.

ORCA CARD PROGRAM

 

Starting this 2010-2011 school year  Metro will be using a new pass system called ORCA.

 

ORCA  Card / METRO Bus Pass Initial Issue & Rules of Use Form may be accessed through this link.  Information about the new ORCA Card Program and forms have been mailed to eligible students.  These forms are also available from School Metro Coordinators or from BSD Transportation.

The links on the left of this page, will provide Metro Bus Route Maps for your particular school.

 

Who is eligible to receive an ORCA Card  / METRO Bus Pass?

            High School students residing outside the school’s walk boundary, who do not have a parking pass.

 

Where do I get my ORCA Card / METRO Bus Pass?

            Eligible students will pick-up their ORCA Card from their school’s Metro Coordinator at school or at BSD Transportation.

 

When do I get my ORCA Card / METRO Bus Pass?

            Pick-up ORCA Card before school starts at school’s back to school orientation.  After school starts, schools will have times designated and posted, when ORCA Cards will be distributed.  ORCA Cards can also be picked-up at BSD Transportation.

            Initially, Metro Bus Passes will be pre-loaded on all ORCA Cards distributed prior to the end of the first week of school.  After that it will take 3-5 days for an ORCA Card to be loaded with a Metro Bus Pass.

            Metro Bus Passes will be electronically loaded onto eligible students ORCA Cards on the 24th of each month for the following month (October – June).

 

How much do I pay?

            Eligible students are initially issued an ORCA Card at no cost.  Replacements for Lost, Stolen or Damaged cards will cost students $10.

            With a Metro Bus Pass loaded on an ORCA Card, students may ride any King County Metro transit bus at no cost.  Students must scan/tap their ORCA Card on the fare card reader each time they enter the bus.  Students must pay additional costs in excess of $.75 Youth fare, if riding Sound Transit or using any other transit service.

 

What Bus do I take?

            King County Metro Transit Buses.  See the Metro Bus Route Maps for your school, which are a link on this web site.  Metro Bus Route Maps are also available at your school or online at www.metro.kingcounty.gov or you may call Metro at 206-553-3000 for information.

 

Where do I catch the bus?

            Students may board the bus at any posted Metro Bus Stop on their route.
