Medina Elementary offers before and after school childcare programs, as well as full-day preschool programs for children 3 – 5 years old.
Childcare, known as Tiger Club, provides excellent supervision and nurturing care while children are able to explore a variety of enrichment activities such as daily arts and crafts, organized group games in the gym and outside, homework time, puzzle mania, computer time, etc. Students will be able to build on their strategic skills with purposeful board games, work on their creative thinking skills at our creation station or occupy their endless imagination while building with blocks, K’nex, LEGOS and more.
Our preschool programs support current trends in Early Childhood Education and offer meaningful experiences across the curriculum. Children develop Kindergarten readiness skills through focused instruction in the areas of social and emotional growth, language/literacy, cognitive development, fine/gross motor strengthening and creative expression.
Both programs staff highly trained individuals with professional degrees and training in Early Childhood Education and who are dedicated to providing each child to grow socially, emotionally, and intellectually. We work hard to ensure that your child will feel safe, happy, and valued while they are able to develop and explore friendship, teamwork, creativity, leadership, conflict resolution skills, self-esteem, and personal success.
