“I am impressed with the breadth of knowledge and talent of the Parents within the Bellevue School District. I am also impressed with the level of optimism that the Parents have in making themselves heard and being able to make positive changes to all aspects of the Bellevue Schools from Parent/Teacher/Board partnering to correcting problems in the curriculum. My goal is to constantly tap that talent and optimism and to make parents and teachers true partners with the school administration in achieving the best educational experience for our children. I intend to use my experience in private industry in establishing measures of success for our children that reflect goals of being world-class in our global economy. I intend to use my skills in financial analysis to investigate opportunities for creating desirable career paths for teachers that keep our best teachers in the classroom.”
