Superintendent Search: Leadership Profile Assessment
 


Thank you for sharing your thoughts and opinions with the superintendent search consultants. 


Based on feedback from the staff and community meetings and the profile assessment forms they received, the search firm will present a profile of desirable characteristics of the next superintendent that will be used to publicize the job opening and recruit candidates.  The profile will be shared with the school board at a public meeting on Tuesday, November 25, at 7:30 p.m. in the school board meeting room, 12111 NE First Street, Bellevue, WA 98005.

 


Conversation on school funding proposal: video now available on-line


On Tuesday, October 14, the Bellevue School Board and Bellevue PTSA Council met with parents, community members and representatives Ross Hunter and Rodney Tom (48th district), and Fred Jarrett (30th district) about a school funding proposal coming out in December from the Legislature's Basic Education Finance Joint Task Force.  The Task Force has been working for more than a year to redefine "basic education" and develop an appropriate funding mechanism for public education.  The meeting was streamed live and is now available for viewing on-line >

Last Day of School: June 18, 2009		 When the district and BEA reached an agreement
on a 3-year contract, the school calendars for
