Congratulations to Interlake High School student Eshika Saxena for winning the 2018 National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT) award for Aspirations in Computing. Saxena is one of 41 National Award winners chosen by NCWIT. She will be honored at an award celebration March 9-11, 2018 in Charlotte, N.C.

The NCWIT award for Aspirations in Computing honors women in grades 9 through 12 who are active and interested in computing and technology, and encourages them to pursue their passions.

With over 3,600 applications, this year’s competition was the biggest yet. Saxena is now among the ranks of a distinguished group of accomplished and inspiring young women who have won the national award.
