Stevenson Elementary
The new Stevenson Elementary is taking shape! Structural steel work is complete and installation of the metal decking on the roof and second floors is underway. Concrete slabs are being poured and steel stud framing is in process.
Tillicum Middle School
Tillicum Middle School is on track with the construction schedule. Classrooms on the south side of the school have been enclosed with drywall, primed and painted, and mechanical heat pumps are being installed in individual mechanical closets. The area north of the ellipse contains the library, commons/stage presentation area, gymnasiums and locker rooms, district food preparation kitchen, music rooms and administration area. The multi-purpose playfield immediately east of the school is nearing completion of the e-layer padding system, which is in preparation for turf installation early next summer.
Wilburton Elementary
Foundations and brace frame footings have been poured for Wilburton Elementary and the structural steel for the north portion of the building is in process. The blue vapor barrier areas seen in these photos are ready for concrete for the slab on grade. Detention vaults have been completed and are backfilled and most site utility work has been completed. Geo-thermal well fields are in the process of being drilled on the east and north sides of the building to provide heating and cooling for the school.
