The Student Information System team has been working to build a solid foundation for a successful transition from Aspen to Edupoint Synergy. Our work has involved developing a detailed project plan that focuses on several aspects of the project including data conversion, strategically setting up Edupoint Synergy, integrating with other software applications, and developing well-designed user guides and training materials.

Data Conversion

Currently, we are actively working to accurately convert/move data from Aspen to Synergy.  The goal of this process is to have completely accurate data in Synergy when it goes live during summer 2017.

Training

We are implementing a training model for our district staff, and in time will develop training materials for our parent and student community.  Our goal is to be able to develop a high level of expertise within all of our user groups and across all of our schools.

Synergy Setup

In early December, the core Edupoint Synergy Implementation Team will begin a series of setup meetings focused on configuring Synergy and aligning our business practices with the new system.  Setup and data conversion will continue through the spring as two interdependent initiatives that will build upon themselves.  We will continue to send periodic updates about our implementation progress with Synergy.

We appreciate your support and active engagement as we work collaboratively to successfully implement the Synergy Student Information System and Gradebook.
