Congratulations to the Bellevue students who were named National Merit Scholarship semifinalists.  Nationally, about 16,000 students were named semifinalists this year.

These academically talented high school seniors have an opportunity to continue the completion for some 7,500 National Merit Scholarships worth about $33 million that will be offered next spring.  To be considered for a scholarship award, semifinalists must fulfill several requirements to advance to the finalist level of the competition.
